The Department of Social Science, Health & Medicine at King’s College London is delighted to announce that from September 2013 it will be offering a unique undergraduate Study Abroad programme, in Global Health & Social Medicine. This programme allows students to gain unique insights into the economic, political and cultural factors that shape the nature of health and disease and which explain entrenched inequalities in the provision of health care worldwide.

With its international focus, and teaching from an international team of experts, led by Professor Nikolas Rose and Professor Bronwyn Parry, the programme offers a unique opportunity to students who are committed to understanding and solving the most pressing challenges that face the world in the 21st Century.

KEY FACTS
  • 2 x mandatory modules 'Introduction to Global Health' and 'Introduction to Social Medicine' make up half of your credit.
  • Elective modules make up the rest of your credit.
  • The Study Abroad team will work with you to find complementary modules which focus in on your desired subject area.
