This PhD project aims to develop and evaluate a brief parent-reported Sugar Intake assessment Tool (SIT) for children aged 5–9 years to support oral health promotion and dietary assessment within dental settings.

The study includes the development of the tool through evidence synthesis, expert consultation, and stakeholder involvement, followed by evaluation of its validity, reliability, and acceptability among parents/carers.
