The 10x Visium CytAssist is a benchtop instrument that streamlines spatial transcriptomics by automating the transfer of gene-expression probes from standard histology slides to Visium slides. It enables spatial gene expression mapping in FFPE and fresh frozen tissues while preserving a histology-first workflow, allowing researchers to select regions of interest based on morphology before analysis. By bridging traditional staining and imaging with spatial genomics, CytAssist simplifies workflows and produces whole-tissue, spatially resolved gene expression maps for deeper biological insight. Two capture area sizes (6.5 x 6.5 mm and 11 x 11 mm) allow larger tissue sections to be analysed.
