The Iridia (Teledyne) is a high-performance 193 nm laser ablation system designed for fast, precise elemental imaging across a wide range of sample types. From soft tissues and individual cells to mineralised materials such as teeth and fossils, the system delivers reliable, high-resolution analysis for advanced research applications.
High-Resolution, Flexible Imaging
Iridia offers a tunable laser spot size from 1 to 50 microns, enabling:
- Sub-cellular resolution for detailed biological studies
- Efficient imaging of large tissue sections within practical timeframes
- Flexibility across diverse biological samples
High-Speed Elemental Mapping
With a laser repetition rate of up to 1 kHz, Iridia enables rapid material removal and high-speed elemental imaging when coupled with iCAP MTX system. This capability significantly reduces analysis time while maintaining high analytical performance.
