The Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Astral mass spectrometer is coupled with a Vanquish Neo Duo UHPLC providing high-resolution, highly sensitive, high-dynamic-range HRAM MS/MS at speeds up to 200 Hz in the novel Astral analyser. The synchronized operation of the Orbitrap and Astral analysers enables powerful acquisition strategies such as HR-DIA, DDA, label-free quantitation, and TMTpro™ 35-plex multiplexed quantification. The system offers ultra-high resolution (up to 480,000 FWHM), sub-ppm mass accuracy, fast scan rates, and extensive built-in methods, making it well suited for advanced proteomics applications, including plasma and single-cell analysis.
