King’s College London Fight the Fakes is the Chapter of the global Fight the Fakes Alliance, dedicated to raising awareness and promoting action against substandard and falsified (SF) (a.k.a. fakes) medicines.

Through advocacy, education, research, and stakeholder engagement, we work to highlight the risks posed by poor-quality medicines and the need for multi-sectoral collaboration to protect patients and strengthen health systems.

While our main focus is on medicines, our Chapter also explores the broader challenge of fake and misleading products across areas such as cosmetics, food, and retail, as well as the growing problem of misinformation and disinformation in health.
