We study how mRNA translation is regulated during inflammation and infection combining Frac-seq (subcellular fractionation and RNA-sequencing), molecular and bioinformatics approaches. We are investigating how dysregulation of microRNAs and RNA binding proteins underlie pathological characteristics of inflammatory diseases- particularly asthma- and rhinovirus infection.
