Cancer Behavioural Science Unit

Our research on cancer prevention, screening and early diagnosis aims to maximise the impact of cancer control policies by better understanding decision-making, (non-) participation and psychological impact.

Cancer Bioinformatics

The Cancer Bioinformatics group is exploring molecular determinants at the primary tumour site and in the draining lymph nodes, mainly in triple negative breast cancers.

Cancer Early Phase Trials Unit

Led by Professor James Spicer, Dr Debashis Sarker and Dr Rebecca Kristeleit, the Cancer Early Phase Trials Unit focuses on the discovery and development of novel molecular and cellular cancer immunotherapies.

Department of Cancer Imaging

Our research is dedicated to improving the effectiveness and reducing side effects of cancer treatment through imaging technology. A highly collaborative department, we work closely with national and international institutions, industry leaders and clinical academics to personalize cancer treatment for each patient.

Cancer Screening and Statistics Unit

Cancer Screening and Statistics Unit are a group of epidemiologist and cancer researchers studying the causes of or early events in the development of cancer. Our aim is to be able to intervene and prevent cancer or diagnose it whilst still easy to treat.
