KCL Cybersecurity Centre

KCL Cybersecurity Centre is an EPSRC-NCSC Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Research (ACE-CSR). It provides expertise on most areas of cyber security, it has a critical mass of researchers working on three main research themes and their interrelationship.

KCL Frost Eye Research Department

The KCL Frost Research Department at St Thomas’ Hospital is one of the largest ophthalmic research units in the UK in terms of patient recruitment.

Ketamine Research

Using brain imaging techniques, we will observe the effects of ketamine treatment on brain activity patterns and how this relates to any changes in the symptoms of treatment resistant depression.

King's Health Economics

King's Health Economics, led by Professor Sarah Byford (Director), and Dr Barbara Barrett (Deputy Director), consists of a team of health economists with expertise in designing and conducting high quality economic evaluations of healthcare programmes and policies that contribute to healthcare policy and practice in the UK and abroad.

Studying climate change through the relationship between science, policy and culture, particularly in the developing world.

King's Contemporary British History

The study of Contemporary British History goes back to the 1960s, and was consolidated with the establishment of the Institute of Contemporary British History in 1985 by (Sir) Anthony Seldon and (Lord) Peter Hennessy. The Institute moved to King’s College London in 2010, and the new King’s Contemporary British History builds on this by creating a larger and more diverse enterprise, building on that distinguished tradition.
