Pliny Project

The Pliny project aimed to look broadly at the provision of tools to support Humanities scholarship: starting with note-taking but continuing into a personal interpretation -- one of the key goals of scholarly research.

Political Economy of Peace and Conflict

The Political Economy of Peace and Security research group analyses a wide range of conflicts, conflict resolution and institutional design for positive peace.

Political Theory Research Group

The political theory group covers many topics and approaches, and affirms the central importance of political economy to political theory.

Politis Group

The aim of the Politis lab is to develop novel methods and tools to study the conformational states and structural dynamics of macromolecular assemblies, important for their function within the cell.

Population Health & Nutrition Research Group

We are a multidisciplinary team with a range of observational and interventional studies in the UK, Africa and Latin America Caribbean. Key interests relate to community-based participatory methods and systems perspectives to engage with the complex socio-cultural contexts that drive disparities in health and access to health care, community engagement, co-design and ethnic inequalities in health.
