Jo Moriarty will be presenting results in public for the first time of the School for Social Care Research funded project 'Social Care Practices with Carers' – the project represents a timely and detailed account of what is happening to support for carers in the light of the current financial situation and major policy changes in social and health care.

To include: Elaine Arnold on Separation in families of African Caribbean origin. Elaine's book (pdf, 351 KB) has recently been published by Jessica Kingsley and is based on studies carried out in 1975 and 2001. It therefore combines historical interest and contemporary relevance.
