By studying Japanese Language and Culture Level 5, you will have expanded your knowledge of Japanese language, culture and history, have developed a critical outlook and understanding of popular culture in Japanese society, be able to communicate and debate in discussions on a range of issues, including social, political and cultural issues, have developed intercultural competence and be conversant with Japanese culture, art and lifestyle, have improved the overall fluency and accuracy of the spoken language and be able to understand a range of references to main historical events and cultural aspects.
