You will learn to critically evaluate the evidence for nursing assessments, interventions and treatments and to plan the most effective acute care to meet the individual needs of patients with acute neurological disease and post neurological trauma.

At the end of the course you will be able to:

  2. Demonstrate proficiency in the assessment, planning, and evaluation of care for theacuteneuroscience patient.
  3. Review the therapeutic interventions for neuroscience patients.
  4. Examine the evolving role of the neuroscience nurse within multi-disciplinary care provision.
