Biography

Camilla is Senior Research Associate on BRACED projects in Burkina Faso and Ethiopia.

She is in charge of developing a conceptual framework for the study and leading data collection and analysis. She is based in London with frequent travel to the projects locations in Burkina Faso and Ethiopia.

She is finishing her PhD on "Land and household resource management for better livelihoods: evidence from rural Burkina Faso" at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), London. She also has a MA in History and International Relations from Roma Tre University, Rome and is a member of LISE research center (Italian Lab for Economic History http://www.lise.roma.it/).

She previously worked with FAO and other NGOs in Burkina Faso and has extensive knowledge of the region.

She is trilingual in Italian, French and English and has considerable experience in fieldwork research and in depth qualitative studies in West Africa.
