Grammateia is a postdoc researcher on the project "Trusted and Transparent Voting Systems" within the Department of Political Economy and the Department of Informatics at King's College London. Grammateia holds a PhD in Economics and Computation from the Department of Computer Science of University of Liverpool. She finished her master's degree in Logic, Algorithms and Computation from University of Athens and her first degree in Mathematics from University of Ioannina, in Greece. 


Her current research focuses on designing voting systems with good properties applicable to the new emerging technology of distributed ledgers (blockchain). She has also focused in congestion games, a class of games in microeconomics that models important applications in networks such as selfish routing in road traffic or Internet communications. Her general research interests are the following:

  • algorithmic game theory 

  • social choice theory

  • blockchain models and their applications
