24 September 2015 As part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the CPAG, the Social Care Workforce Research Unit jointly hosted a seminar with the Social Work History Network to highlight the history of CPAG and its links with the social work profession. The seminar was chaired by Professor Pat Thane from Institute of Contemporary British History who is writing a history of CPAG and the speakers included Ruth Davidson, who is working with Pat, Jane Tunstill, Geoff Fimister, Baroness Molly Meacher, and Frank Field MP.\ Caroline Norrie of the Social Care Workforce Research Unit has blogged about the seminar here.
