War Crimes Trials in Hong Kong

Dr. Suzannah Linton will be discussing her Hong Kong Research Grants Council-funded project into the previously unknown war crimes trials that were held in Hong Kong from 1946-1948.

Dr. Suzannah Linton started the project on Hong Kong’s War Crimes Trials when she was Associate Professor in the Department of Law at the University of Hong Kong, and completed it as Chair of International Law at Bangor University in the UK.  She is at present a fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public and International Law in Heidelberg, Germany.
