Research & Analysis

Current projects and activities

Research-analysis-headerThe Policy Institute carries out policy research and analysis primarily within four key areas:

  • Communities, social investment and social outcomes
  • Public health and its intersection with other policy areas
  • Defence and national security policy in the UK and beyond
  • Research evaluation and science policy

The Institute does, however, conduct work outside of these areas, and is always looking to address other policy challenges.

All of the Institute's work is built on the premise that bringing excellent research, policymaking and practice closer together is important for tackling societal issues.
