Postgraduate research programmes
Academics from across the College could potentially supervise doctoral candidates with an interest in politics and international relations. If you have a potential supervisor in mind, please contact them for an informal discussion. See the People section for potential supervisors or visit the Postgraduate Research section of the online prospectus.
Doctoral Training Centre
King’s Interdisciplinary Social Science Doctoral Training Centre (KISS-DTC) awards a number of ESRC-funded PhD studentships. The DTC runs over 75 advanced courses in methods, and basic training in qualitative and quantitative methods. Politics PhD students are most likely to be placed in theme four (Regulation, Governance and Politics), theme 14 (International Law, Violence and Global Order) and theme 15 (Military and Regional Security), but there are politics students in other KISS-DTC themes too. Visit the KISS-DTC web pages for further information.
For further guidance on applying to a postgraduate research programme at King's see the College's postgraduate research admissions pages.
