Visa guidance at King's

We offer visa advice and guidance to students who are thinking of coming to King’s, those who already have an offer to study with us and current King's students. Our team help you navigate the UK visa landscape by providing advice on getting a student visa, changing a visa and managing other personal circumstances that may impact your visa status. We also offer advice about visa options after you have completed your studies.

What to do next if you’ve had a visa application refused.

Drop-in sessions

Enrolled students can come to a campus drop-ins. Please bear in mind that these are quick sessions that might need further follow-up. Mondays 13.00–15.00 Wednesdays 13.00–15.00 Thursday 13.00–15.00 Drop-in sessions take place in the Strand Student Centre on Floor 4, Bush House North West. There will no international Student Drop-in session on Monday December 8 or Thursday December 11 due to staff training. There will be no Drop-in sessions from December 17 to January 5 2026 due to the winter break and university closure

Adviceline

If you prefer to speak to us over the phone, please call us on the number below. Please ensure you have your Student ID ready, as your adviser will ask for this at the start of the call. Please note these calls are usually for a maximum of 15 minutes. Our number is (+44) (0)20 7848 7001. Our phone service is available at the following times when King's is open (UK time): Tuesday 13:00 -15:00 Fridays, 09.00–11.00 There will be no Adviceline on Friday December 12 due to staffing. There will be no Adviceline sessions from December 17 to January 5 2026 due to the winter break and University closure.
