At Home in Cultural London is a year-long programme of activity designed to connect you to London, and King’s, through arts and culture. Whether you just want to have a taste, or fully immerse yourself, this programme is your jumping-off point to explore, reflect and create in cultural London.
At Home in Cultural London will include bespoke video content from King’s academics and London’s artists and cultural organisations, live creative workshops and opportunities to connect with each other and explore the city. The programme will be available to join and engage with throughout the year, with new content and workshops on offer each month, with themes such as personal creativity, skills, wellbeing, activism and the future of the city.
If you engage regularly over the year, you will be able to earn a certificate of participation or even an Experience Award (more information on KEATS) to be recognised on your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR). The programme is open to all students new and returning regardless of faculty, year or level of study. No pre-existing knowledge or experience with arts and culture or London is necessary or expected.
