Today we launched our new five-year strategy for the University, to deliver exceptional outcomes for our students, advance our academic excellence and drive impact in service of society.
Developed following engagement with thousands of colleagues across the University, King’s Strategy 2030 shares how we will build on our legacy and evolve to secure our future.
Our new strategy is just the starting point for our journey forward and will be updated with progress and achievements as we turn our plans into actions across King’s.
The strategy highlights four priorities:
- Student success in and beyond the University
- Invest in research and education excellence for the changing world
- Foster innovation and entrepreneurship
- Sustainable finances for a secure future
These priorities will be supported by five enablers:

Our new strategy responds to a rapidly changing world and sets out how King’s will continue to evolve – strengthening our education and research to deliver excellence, create impact and enable every student to succeed.
It sets out how we will build new academic excellence in targeted areas aligned to local, national and global priorities, with a continued focus on quality and impact. It also highlights how we will foster innovation and entrepreneurship, helping translate research into real-world benefits.
