Record your attendance using Venio from the start of the semester

Students in the library using laptops

Many students across King's already use Venio to register their attendance during timetabled sessions. As part of its phased roll out, Venio is now live across additional programmes and faculties. As a result, some of you will continue using Venio as normal, while others will be using it for the first time from the start of the academic year when your classes start.

A re-cap on why you need to record your attendance

Attending your classes is an important part of engaging with your studies and making the most of your time at King's.

We understand that there may be times when you are unable to attend, and recording attendance helps us better understand student engagement so that we can provide support where it may be needed.

Attendance information also helps us to:

  • Support your engagement, wellbeing and success during your studies at King's.
  • Identify when you may benefit from additional support.
  • Provide a consistent approach across the university so all students have access to fair and equitable support.
  • Support students who hold a visa to meet the attendance requirements of their visa, ensuring King’s remains compliant as a sponsor.
