Award details
The Fund for the Development of Human Resources (FIDERH) is a federal trust fund, administered by the Bank of Mexico for more than 40 years, in order to finance postgraduate studies of Mexican students. We are also part of the System of Public Research Centers of CONACYT.
Funding
As part of the agreement between FIDERH and King's College London, postgraduate students will receive a 10% discount on their tuition fee if they come to King's College London on a Banco de Mexico loan.
Note that, students who hold more than one loan or scholarship from Mexican sponsors are entitled to only one tuition fee discount/waiver from King's College London, at the highest applicable rate.
Award value
200,000 pesos per year is available from FIDERH for up to 24 months for Master's degrees and up to 36 months for Doctoral degrees. Funding can be used towards tuition fees, living expenses and/or health insurance.

REQUIREMENTS of the Applicant are:
- Mexican nationality by birth or naturalization.
- Age limit 50 years.
- Have obtained a bachelor's, specialty or master's degree, with a minimum average of 7.8.
- Letter of final acceptance from the University where you will study.
- Proof of knowledge of a second language (no more than 2 years prior to receipt of the application).
REQUIREMENTS of the Aval are:
- Mexican nationality by birth or naturalization.
- Reside in the Mexican Republic.
- Age from 18 to 68 years.
- Proof of income in force according to the bases of the call.
- It can only be endorsed by a FIDERH loan.
- Mortgaged, intestate properties are not accepted, without the seal of the Public Property Registry in the deed, in the name or jointly owned with the applicant or his spouse , legal entities, that are not urbanized or similar.
- Applicants cannot endorse another applicant.
- The applicant may not be a co-owner of the property presented.
