Dr Angela Scott Medical Award 2021-22
Applications are invited from all full-time home fee status first year Medical Degree (5 yr MBBS programme) AND second year Extended Medical Degree (6 yr MBBS programme) students.
What is the Angela Scott Medical Award?
This Award was established in 2008 by Dr Angela Scott, an alumna of the Medical School at King’s, to provide ongoing assistance to medical students who are facing financial difficulty.
The award is aimed at relieving hardship to give students the opportunity to pursue a rounded educational experience, both within and beyond their studies.
The award supports two medical students with £1,100 per year for the duration of their 5 year MBBS study, or years 2-6 of their extended degree study. There are two awards available each year.
Please note that you will not be eligible for a payment in years that you are repeating, resitting, interrupting or intercalating. If you transfer to another course or withdraw, you will cease to be eligible for any outstanding payments.
