The Global Mobility team are a collaborative team of ten professional services staff working to create mobility opportunities for students at King's and worldwide. As part of the Students and Education Directorate (SED), we identify, promote and facilitate opportunities for students to be globally mobile, to study abroad and partake in overseas traineeships. We work with both incoming students from overseas institutions and King's outgoing students, including those participating in bilateral agreements and the Erasmus+ programme. We work with academic departments, Schools and Faculties at King's to develop, promote and manage quality opportunities for King's students. We also initiate and maintain links with Higher Education institutions overseas and more recently, have developed opportunities for more staff to be internationally mobile.

Study Abroad Tutors
The Study Abroad Tutor is an academic member of staff within a department whose role it is to provide guidance to both incoming and outgoing Study Abroad students. Commonly, one member of staff acts as both incoming and outgoing tutor, or the role may be separated, with a different staff member responsible for each distinct group. Working closely with the Global Mobility Office, the Study Abroad Tutor network not only provides vital academic support to participating students, but also plays an important role in creating and maintaining relationships with partner institutions.
Please see here to find out who your Study Abroad Tutor is, and how to contact them.
Our dedicated Peer Advisors work with the Global Mobility Office to support incoming and outgoing Study Abroad students. Whether you are a King's student interested in studying abroad as part of your degree, a student seeking advice on overseas opportunities, a recently arrived student who is studying abroad at King's and in need of some guidance, or simply want to chat over options, the Peer Advisor team will be happy to help.
Please see here to find out more about our curent Peer Advisors, and when you can meet them.
