We undertand that making the move to a new city can be daunting, however we are here to provide you with accommodation during your course, so you can spend time making new friends and exploring everything London has to offer.

Whether you are studying for Term one (September-December), Term two and three (January-June) or a Full Year (September-June), you will find the perfect accommodation to suit your lifestyle and budget.

How To Apply

Log-in to the online application portal to start your application.

1. We recommend that you use either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox when accessing our accommodation portal

2. Please enter your username and password. Your username is your Student ID number and can be found on your academic offer letter. Your password is your Date of Birth in the format of DDMMYY.

3. Once you have logged on, click on Application and Booking Management (on the left-hand side menu) and select Main Menu. 

4. Click on Apply Here to start your application.

5. Ensure that you click Finish & Submit before closing the screen.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can I apply?

Applications will open on November 18th 2019. Any application received before the 18th December for arrival in January will be sent an offer before the 20th December.

How do I apply?

You will  apply via the online Application portal.  Your username will be your Student ID Number and your password will be your date of birth in the format of DDMMYY.

 

Am I eligible to apply for accommodation at King’s?

Only King’s College London prospective students who hold a conditional or unconditional firm offer for a full-time course will be eligible to apply for accommodation for the academic year in which their course commences. This applies to:

  •          * Study Abroad students enrolling for Term one (September – January), Term 2/3 (January-June) and Full Year (September-June)

Applicants below the age of 16 years old on move-in day are not eligible to apply for KCL accommodation.

Am I guaranteed accommodation?

Offers are subject to availability at the time of booking.

When will I be made an offer of accommodation?

Offers will be sent from the 18th November until the 20th December 2019.

Can I cancel my booking?

The deadline for free cancellation is Monday 16 December 2019, 23:59pm. If you have accepted the offer and failed to cancel before/on this date, a late cancellation fee of £500 will apply. Please note that there is a charge of £500 and 4 weeks rent for not showing up.

Can I choose the residence I will be allocated to?

Allocations are done based on the room type and residences that you indicate on your application. The requests you make are EQUALLY ranked, cannot be distinguished in order of highest to lowest priority and are not guaranteed.

How long does it take to complete my application?

It should take you no more than 10 minutes to complete your application

Will I receive an acknowledgment once my application is completed?

Yes. Once you have completed your application and clicked submit, you will receive an email acknowledging the receipt of your application. This email will be sent to the email address you registered with on King’s Apply – please ensure that this address is current, and you have access to it.

Can I choose my contract length?

Students applying for term 2/3 accommodation will be offered a 24 weeks contract. The contract will start January 04th and end June 20th. Please note, contract cannot be shortened.
