How do I view my offer?
Please log in to the accommodation portal after you receive an email from us indicating that you have been allocated a place within King’s Residences.
Can I request to change residences?
Allocations are done based on the residences and room types that you indicate on your application. Students will be able to swap their rooms from October 2019.
How long do I have to decide?
The deadline for a decision will be outlined on your accommodation offer email – this varies from 24hrs to 4 days depending on how close you are to the start of term.
Where can I find a copy of the accommodation contract/terms and conditions?
The terms and conditions of accommodation will be part of your accommodation offer but you can also access a copy by clicking here. Please read it carefully before accepting your offer as these terms are legally binding.
What happens if I do not accept my offer of accommodation within the deadline?
The offer will be automatically withdrawn on the deadline stated on your accommodation offer email and your place will be offered to another applicant. You may not be made another offer for the 2019/20 academic year.
Do I need to pay a deposit for the accommodation?
Only students accepted into Intercollegiate Halls and Orchard Lisle and Iris Brook are required to pay a deposit. All other King’s Residences operate on a no deposit policy.
Is there anything else I need to do?
Not at this time. Closer to your arrivals day we will ask you to validate your booking by completing an online induction and booking your arrival slot. But don’t worry, we will send communications to this effect after A-levels results day.
How do I accept an accommodation offer from one of the Intercollegiate Halls (managed by University of London) or Orchard Lisle & Iris Brook (managed by Fresh Student Living)?
Each of these accommodation’s reservations team The Intercollegiate Halls and Fresh Student Living will contact you directly, by email, with details of the accommodation offer within 5 working days from when you first receive our email confirming you have been made an offer of accommodation to one of these residences; you must ensure that you check your email account regularly as you will be expected to respond within 48 hours. Please note that their terms and conditions, including deposit payment requirements differ from ours.
I have accepted the accommodation offer but due to personal circumstances I no longer require the accommodation offered to me. Will I be charged a no-show fee?
