This non-regional optional module introduces the key microeconomic issue of economic development in developing countries, including topics such as poverty, human capital and investment and financial resources. It will provide a modern analytical and empirical approach with an emphasis on the most recent developments in the field. The main focus of this module is not only on the least developing countries, but on the economic development in middle-income countries as well.
