Advanced Issues in International Politics (Module)

Module description

This module will provide students with an advanced understanding of the central issues in international politics. Picking up the themes tackled in earlier modules throughout the degree – World Politics since 1945 in Year 1, and The International Politics of Energy and The Politics of Foreign Policy in Year 2 – this module will encourage students to develop an advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of the field, and will provide the backbone of a set of courses which will allow students to ‘stream’ the final year of their degree towards international politics through their option choices and dissertation topic.

This module will appeal to students who are interested in international politics and want to deepen their working knowledge of political science and international affairs.
