Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Disorders (Module)

Module description

This module aims to provide an understanding of key disorders in child and adolescent  mental health, their diagnosis and management as well as up-to-date research knowledge of the field. The principles of multidisciplinary and multiagency working to deliver child and adolescent mental health services are addressed. By the end of this module the students will understand the principles diagnosis and biological, psychological and social interventions for major mental health disorders in children and adolescents. This module is based on integration of theoretical material, vignettes of virtual patients and practice-based learning.
