China and Global Governance (Module)

Module description

This module will familiarise students with literature on the international debates about global governance, both as a normative framework for democratic governance beyond the state and as practice of global institutional construction and reform. Stduents will critically engage the discourse of good governance and be introduced to the main theoretical perspectives in both international relations and international law about global governance, encouraging critical assessment of the strength and weakness of these perspectives.
