Health Psychology in Action and Professional Development (including clinical placement) (Module)

Module description

This module provides students the opportunity to view how health psychology may be put into practice, liaise with multidisciplinary teams and define the role of Health Psychology as distinct from other related disciplines. A sustained period of work placement provides experience of health psychology in action. The host institution should have an identified need/agenda requiring direction and expertise from health psychologist.
