This module is designed to encompass the conduct of research, and the effective use of evidence within the field of addiction science, policy and treatment. It provides students with the opportunity to work on a supervised research project relevant to addictions. It will enable them to use the knowledge that they have acquired from the previous modules.
Aims of the module
The aims of the module are to utilise the skills underpinning the critical and comprehensive analysis of a selected addiction research project by engaging in a critical literature review, the production of the dissertation and an oral presentation of the results to develop the skills necessary for the production of primary or secondary research.
