King's Accommodation

Moving to a new country and finding accommodation can be challenging, especially if it's your first time away from home.
We offer guaranteed accommodation for the duration of your studies with King's Foundations and the first year of your undergradaute King’s degree.
King's accommodation is located throughout London and we have over 5,300 places available, plus access to University of London accommodation.

Please note: you need to be 16 years of age or above to stay in King's accommodation. If you are under 18 years of age, you must live either in university-owned residences or with a parent, legal guardian or UK-based educational guardian in the UK.
We do not permit students under 18 years old to live in private accommodation if your parent, legal guardian or UK-based educational guardian does not live with you. To view our Under 18 Accommodation Policy, please visit the King's Residences page.
If you decide to rent a flat or a room in a shared house, advice on finding accommodation is offered by the University of London Accommodation Office.
If you are intending to arrange your accommodation while studying on the Pre-sessional course privately, please note that your classes will generally be held at the Strand Campus (Bush House) of King’s College London with some classes taking place at our Waterloo Campus.

Applying now? Here's what to do:
Step 1. Accept your offer
You must accept your King's Foundations offer (conditional or unconditional) before you can apply for accommodation. To accept your offer:
- King's International Foundation students need to pay a £2,000 deposit.
- Pre-sessional students need to confirm their main King's programme offer with the Admissions team.
Step 2. Apply in time
Once you have accepted your offer, you will receive login details to apply through the accommodation portal.
When logging into the accommodation portal:
1. Please enter your username and password. Your username is your Student ID number and can be found on your academic offer letter. You password is your Date of Birth in the format of DDMMYY.
2. Once you have logged on, click on Application and Booking Management (on the left-hand side menu) and select Main Menu.
3. Ensure you that you complete the application form, then click Finish & Submit before closing the screen.

Step 3. Move in
To help you settle in, your room is ready and available for you to move into before your course starts.

*Please note that dates can change slightly. We will make sure that you have all the information you need and enough time to settle in before your induction.
