Study abroad for high school students

Pre-University Summer School

The King's Pre-University Summer School is a unique opportunity for high school students to be exposed to the college experience. High school juniors and seniors can enroll in three different course tracks, explore London life and culture, and attend university and career guidance classes to help them prepare for applications and guide them on how to make the most of their time at university. The program is residential and pricing includes all academics, meals, lodging, and a social program.

The 2015 program takes place from Sunday 26 July – Saturday 8 August 2015

Undergraduate study abroad and exchange students

Semester and Year-Long Study Abroad

Summer Study Abroad


Don’t have time for a long study abroad experience? Participate in the Summer School study abroad program, which offers two 3-week sessions and 40 course options around the themes:

  • King's & Cultural London
  • King's and Health London
  • King's & Governance London
  • King's & Legal London

Fulbright Summer Institute

King's has been selected to host the Fulbright Summer Institute from 2013 - 2015. Students will attend an intensive, academically challenging and interactive module while learning leadership skills in Fulbright Masterclasses, provided by professionals and academics. Learn more about the Fulbright Summer Institute at King's. To apply for the Fulbright Summer Institute, please visit the Fulbright Commission.

Study abroad for graduate students

King's provides a unique study abroad opportunity for graduate students. 

Postgraduate Taught Study Abroad Programme

If you are currently enrolled in a  Masters programme at an institution based outside of the UK, then you are eligible to apply for the Postgraduate Taught Study Abroad Programme at King's. On this program you will complete three courses each semester alongside Masters students at King's. More information can be found at the Study Abroad Office.

Postgraduate Research Study Abroad Programme

If you are currently enrolled in a PhD programme at an institution based outside of the UK, then you can take advantage of the Postgraduate Research Study Abroad Programme. You will  be given access to facilities such as the graduate study space, the College libraries and to graduate methodology seminars. If accepted onto the programme you will receive four scheduled meetings per semester with your King's-appointed research supervisor. More information can be found at the Study Abroad Office.
