This programme is a multidisciplinary programme for all health professionals who want to develop an applied skills in diabetes care. It will appeal to professionals who wish to specialise in diabetes care either in primary, intermediate or secondary care settings.
Previous graduates have: gone on to become practice nurses, GPs, pharmacists, dietitians and podiatrists with a special interest in diabetes. Other graduates have gone to become diabetes specialist nurses. The programme will provide a comprehensive training in diabetes care, which will improve patient care and outcomes.
