Applications for the European Union Law Postgraduate Diploma are made via our distance learning partner, Informa Connect. For additional information and enquiries, find Informa's web and email addresses in the Contact Us box.
Our European Union Law Postgraduate Diploma is a distance learning course (with two residential weekends) covering a wide range of important EU Law topics, such as free movement of goods and people, competition law, anti-discrimination law, external relations and judicial review. You will gain an in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the most important theoretical and practical aspects of EU law, with a particular emphasis on the Treaties of the European Union. This programme is generally studied by professionals alongside their full time work commitments.
“Studying EU law at King’s College was a most rewarding and truly outstanding experience. The whole faculty is dedicated, welcoming and very keen to assist international students. The course is built up in such a way that people with less experience in EU law can build up the necessary skills to cope with the high intellectual and academic standards of King’s.”
Completing this rigorous course will give you a competitive edge in the job market. With its practical approach you can apply your expertise immediately in your work environment. You will also have opportunities to network with professionals in your area from all over the world. Course graduates are mostly professionals who enjoy specialisation and promotion in their existing workplace or new employment destinations.
Students who have achieved the European Union Law Postgraduate Diploma at merit level or above may apply for a second year where a 60 credit dissertation is written under supervision to gain an MA.
