Preliminary Reading List for MA in Language and Cultural Diversity

This reading list includes a list of books and, in case you are unable to get hold of them, also somepapers that can be downloaded from the internet. The list provides a background to your studieson the MA in Language and Cultural Diversity, and will be supplemented by bibliographiesprovided by module tutors during the year. Some of these titles will be referred to withinparticular modules, though usually tutors suggest additional reading and supply lecture handoutsand materials as per module requirements. We hope that the list can provide a general overviewof the programme and some inspiration to keep you interested before you arrive.
