Welcome to King's English Language Centre

Nina Mcdermott

King's academic preparation courses are taught through the King's English Language Centre. King’s has a long history of welcoming international students, and the King's English Language Centre is proud to play an important part in this tradition, now more than ever.

Entering a new study environment can be challenging, not only in terms of language but also in terms of adjusting to a new academic culture. King's prepares and supports students in both of these areas through our academic preparation courses ranging from the full-time International Pre-master’s and Foundation to the Pre-sessional courses.

The King's English Language Centre is regularly inspected by the British Council and has been named a 2014 Centre of Excellence (pdf 203kb), putting us in the top 20 of similar institutions in the UK.

With our team of highly-qualified and experienced teachers, you can be sure that you are taking the best first step towards study in the UK.

I look forward to welcoming you and working with you to realise your full potential at King’s.
