Who are we?

The Schools and College Liaison team and the Widening Participation departments are the main points of contact for schools, colleges, teachers and HE advisers. We provide an extensive service to these groups and also co-ordinate the university's widening participation activities.

UK Schools and Colleges Liaison

Meet the team here

Our central Schools and Colleges Liaison programme works primarily with year 11, 12 and 13 students and their teachers, advisers and parents from across the UK.  We offer opportunities for you and your students to come and visit King’s and we’re also delighted to visit schools and colleges to attend HE and careers fairs or deliver a variety of talks and workshops. To support this we offer a range of downloadable materials to use in class and provide CPD training to school and college staff involved in supporting their students in progression into higher education.

In addition to our visit programme, we also provide information and advice on a range of higher education issues such as education and qualification reform, as well as provide comment on the higher education sector and its impact on universities such as King’s.

Stay up to date with news from King’s and find out more about the activities and resources we offer by registering to receive The Staff Room, our termly newsletter for teachers and careers advisers. Read previous versions and sign up to receive your copy now.

Widening Participation

Meet the team here

Our Widening Participation Department works to improve access to university for under-represented groups. Our flagship programme, K+, supports Year 12 students from state schools in the London area in their journey to university. The Widening Participation Department also offers a range of other programmes and events throughout the year including summer schools. Find out more on the Widening Participation webpages.

We look forward to working with you and your students over the coming year.
