For aspiring and experienced nurses and midwives this group of courses offers a wide range of training and professional development opportunities that will enable you to launch a career as a healthcare expert, or move your career to the next level and beyond.

Our extensive range of courses, at the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care, includes initial professional training and opportunities to specialise in particular aspects of care.

At the undergraduate level you can train and qualify as a registered nurse or midwife, or build on existing healthcare skills.

For postgraduate students, our courses open up pathways that focus on some of the most pressing issues in healthcare today, including care for some of the most vulnerable in our society.

From specialisms dealing with children or mental health to delivering healthcare in the community, or delivering babies, nursing and midwifery at King’s offers world-class training, an opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading practitioners, and to connect with the next generation of leaders in this vital field.

You’ll engage with innovative programmes presenting the very latest thinking on topics such as art, music and culture in healthcare,  and mental health and enjoy opportunities to explore, and in some case undertake, cutting-edge research.

With theoretical and practical training, as well as research projects, based at some of London and the UK’s leading teaching hospitals, there simply isn’t a better place to begin, or to enhance your career in nursing or midwifery.
