Public health

Public health courses examine the issues and challenges of delivering medical and healthcare in a variety of environments, both in the UK and internationally.

Our portfolio of public health courses provides a range of options to explore health-related policy at the macro level and to understand how services and care are shaped by, and can be delivered in changing or extreme conditions. Why do some communities struggle more with dental health, for example, or how can women and children’s health services be delivered effectively in war zones or transient communities?

These courses will help you to explore national and international phenomena from the perspective of medical and healthcare and lay the foundation for a career supporting improving healthcare provision for the most vulnerable.
