Career opportunities: Politics BA/BSc

Our graduates have entered a wide range of public, private and research careers. Recent destinations in politics and public service include:

  • The European Parliament
  • The House of Commons
  • The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office
  • The Ministry of Defence
  • The Department of Health and Social Care
  • and embassies and civil services from Sofia to Singapore.

Regarding consulting and analysis, recent graduates have gone on to work for internationally renowned employers such as Deloitte, Citigroup, Shell, as well as political-risk and public-affairs consultancies. Many of our graduates are also recruited by international organisations and NGOs, including the United Nations and the British Red Cross.
