The King’s Pre-University Summer School is a unique academic and social experience designed for high school students who are enrolled in their final two years of study. The programme provides the opportunity to study a chosen subject at undergraduate level and helps students prepare for their future at university and beyond.

It is an intensive two-week course, combining academic classes, university preparation advice and wider skills sessions. Students also enjoy a varied online social programme  which creates an international community and cultural exchanges.

Studying online can be an amazing academic and cultural experience, and studying at the King's Pre-University Summer School is no different. Here are just a few of the benefits of studying online at King's:

Excellent Global Reputation: A key driver for students applying to King’s is its global reputation as a top university. Students from previous years have spoken of the personal pride that they feel from having attended such a prestigious university.

Interactive Learning Environment: King’s faculty and staff ensure a high quality of teaching across all of our programmes. Each module uses on-demand and live teaching to allow flexible and differentiated learning. The live lectures and seminars facilitate group discussion, debate and input between faculty and students.

Develop an International Perspective: Summer online promotes an international experience through joint research projects, culturally diverse students and staff and the Summer Society. The Summer Society brings students together with our King’s undergraduate ambassadors in London for cultural exchanges through a variety of engaging social activities.

21st Century Learning Experience: Learning and studying online has created new forums for ideas sharing, developments in cultural understanding and unprecedented access to leading members of King’s faculty. King’s online summer school encompasses all of these elements and more, providing opportunities for academic enrichment, confidence and the opportunity to part of a global community in an accessible and open environment.
