Welcome from course lead
"Congratulations on being offered a place to study Law with Criminology at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College, London. This is a new LLB programme and competition for places has been fierce, so your offer is a vote of confidence by us that you have the potential to thrive and excel in the dynamic academic environment that flourishes here in the Law School.
"You are about to embark on one of the most exciting periods of your life and so it’s imperative that you choose the right place to invest in your future.
"The Dickson Poon School of Law is one of the world’s leading law schools and our new programme in Law with Criminology provides an unparalleled opportunity to study crime, criminality and the criminal justice system, within the context of a full law degree. Criminal justice is one of the most dynamic and controversial areas of law, often driven by high-profile cases that raise important questions about the rule of law and access to justice.
"On our programme, you will work with leading academics and other students who are all passionate about the ways in which we understand criminal behaviour and how criminal justice institutions function in theory and in practice.
"My colleagues and I are truly excited about launching our new programme and we look forward to welcoming you in September and guiding you on your undergraduate journey."
- Professor Elaine Player, Professor of Criminology & Criminal Justice
