Campus tours

King’s is pleased to offer guided campus tours of four of our five campuses. Visit us to find out more about King’s, our world-class teaching and research, outstanding facilities and excellent student experience. 

Guy's Campus

Book now to attend a Guy's Campus tour  

For visitors interested in studying an undergraduate course delivered by the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience or Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care.King's College London's Guy's Campus

Our undergraduate Guy's Campus tours take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon (excluding some bank holidays and other selected dates). On the day, please arrive at the main reception of New Hunt's House, Guy's Campus at 2.20pm. A King's student ambassador wearing a red t-shirt will meet you there. The tour will commence at 2.30pm and last around one hour.

On Wednesdays and Fridays, students attending a Guy's Campus tour will also have the option to visit our Waterloo Campus. Please see below for further information.

Strand Campus

For visitors interested in studying an undergraduate course delivered by the Faculty of Arts & Humanities, Faculty of Natural & Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy or The Dickson Poon School of Law.King's College London Strand Campus

Our undergraduate Strand Campus tours take place every weekday afternoon (excluding some bank holidays and other selected dates). On the day, please arrive at the main reception of Strand Campus at 2.20pm. A King's student ambassador wearing a red t-shirt will meet you there. The tour will commence at 2.30pm and last around one hour.

On Wednesdays and Fridays, students attending a Strand Campus tour will also have the option to visit our Maughan Library or Waterloo Campus. Please see below for further information.

Denmark Hill Campus

For visitors interested in studying at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. 

Please note that although this tour is open to Undergraduate visitors, the majority of courses taught on this campus are at Postgraduate level. For students interested in studying with the IoPPN at undergraduate level, we recommend attending a Guy’s Campus Tour.Denmark Hill campus sign

Our Denmark Hill tours take place on the last Wednesday of every month. One the day, please arrive at the IoPPN Main Reception at 2:50pm. A King’s student ambassador wearing a red t-shirt will meet you there. The tour will commence at 3:00pm and last for approximately 45 minutes.

Maughan Library and Waterloo Campus

On Wednesdays and Fridays only:

  • Students attending a Strand Campus tour are encouraged to join an optional additional tour of our Maughan Library, the main research library at King's for humanities, law and science. Alternatively, students interested in studying English language and linguistics are welcome to attend a Waterloo Campus tour, where teaching for these courses also currently takes place. 
  • Students attending a Guy's Campus tour who are interested in studying nutrition & dietetics, nursing, midwifery or pharmaceutical sciences are encouraged to join an optional additional tour of our Waterloo Campus, where teaching for these courses also currently takes place. 

To join either tour, please book a Strand or Guy's tour as appropriate above for any Wednesday or Friday. Please meet the King's student ambassador at the main entrance to the Maughan Library or the main reception of the Franklin Wilkins Building, Waterloo Campus. Both tours begin at 4pm and last for around 20-30 minutes.

Postgraduate tours

We offer postgraduate campus tours of our Strand and Denmark Hill campuses typically once a month and of our Guy's Campus quarterly. These tours focus on topics which are relevant to prospective postgraduate taught and research students, and are delivered by a current King's master's or PhD student.

Unfortunately, we are unable to show our residences on our daily campus tours. Instead, for tours of our accommodation, please contact the residences directly and the local teams will do their best to arrange a visit where possible. Contact details can be found here and below.

School Groups

UK school groups: Unfortunately, we are typically unable to book school groups on our daily guided tours due to capacity restrictions. However, our Schools and Colleges Liaison team offer a range of visits and activities for schools, including on-campus Explore King's events. Please contact schools.liaison@kcl.ac.uk for further information. 

EU school groups: Please contact our European schools liaison team at counsellors@kcl.ac.uk to enquire about visiting King's.
