What does this course cover?
Academic Programme
High school or secondary school students aged 18 who hold a university offer will have the opportunity to take one or two undergraduate modules of their choice. Students will engage in experiential, research-informed teaching through seminars, workshops, and lectures, studying alongside international undergraduate students.
Students will attend classes and participate in discussions in an auditing capacity. Auditing at King’s Undergraduate Summer School means students can attend lectures and seminars, actively contribute to class discussions, and complete individual assessments, for which they will receive an indicative (non-credit-bearing) grade. Group assessments may be taken only where students are grouped alongside others in the same track. Students will receive a Certificate of Completion, but not an official academic transcript.
This track is an excellent opportunity for students who wish to explore a subject at undergraduate level, develop academic and professional skills, gain insight into learning at a world-class university, and connect with students from around the world — all while experiencing university study without the pressure of formal exams or credit-bearing assessments.

Safeguarding and Supervision
Please note that students on this track will have the same level of support as King’s Undergraduate students, which is different to the level of support we provide to under 18-yearold students. Whilst the support structure differs between programmes, there will be members of staff within the Summer Programmes team who can help if any issues arise.
