Pre-University Winter School

Application deadline extended to 25 January 2021.

Please note that places on some subjects are now limited and may fill up before the application deadline.
Are you passionate about science but not sure what to study at university? Do you see yourself as a future CEO but wondering which is the best path to choose? The King's Pre-University Online Winter School is an initial step into the world of Higher Education for high school students.
Designed primarily for students aged 15-17, who will be soon making decisions around university, this one-week programme is an intensive introduction to undergraduate level study, allowing students to explore different subjects within a wider academic discipline, and make informed choices about their options beyond compulsory education.
The programme offers three streams, spanning teaching from most of King’s faculties and schools. Choosing one of the following courses for the duration of the programme, you’ll be able to sample various subjects within that discipline, gain insight into how it’s taught at undergraduate level, start to develop skills and competencies needed for success at university, and build confidence ahead of further study.
