Undergraduate Summer Society

Undergraduates will have a number of organised social activities every week.  In addition to organised events, we regularly promote online and London based events through our social media allowing for smaller groups within the society to meet up independently and experience London’s culture online.
In 2020, the Summer Society have teamed up with King's Entrepreneurship Institute and offered a self-learning course in 'Developing Skills for an Entrepreneurial Mindset'. The course aimed to introduce King's Summer Society students to the concept of entrepreneurialism and to create an entrepreneurial community where experiences are shared and enhanced. Upon completion, students  were better able to understand what an entrepreneurial mindset looks like, how you can develop such a mindset and embed entrepreneurship into your DNA and, crucially, how you can use this skill set to enhance your future.

Attending the Online Undergraduate Summer School automatically enrols you into our Summer Society. Get involved in a variety of online social activities including a traditional British pub quiz, take advantage of live streams from London’s key cultural institutions and interact with current King’s undergraduates throughout the summer. Our series of wider skills sessions delivered by industry professionals and King’s leaders are designed to help you build for success, network internationally and get the most out of your summer online experience at King’s.

Activities on campus are under review for 2021 and more information will be uploaded in the Spring of 2021. We want the Summer Society to be inclusive, safe and enjoyable for all students.
